The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: I treasure all our good times at Penn State and Chi Omega. I retired in 2005 from teaching ninth grade science at Brandywine and Concord High Schools in DE. I was honored to be State Teacher of the Year, Presidential Awardee, and National Board Certified. Thank you, College of Education, for preparing me so well. Community service is important to me - particularly my work with the Junior League of Wilmington as president and National Science Olympiad both in DE and as 2002 co-chair of Nationals. I still really love music and concerts - have moved on from the Temptations to Clapton - and my son Brad is one super guitarist. Also enjoy Penn State football, travel, the shore, and international relations Chautauqua style. Cancer took my leg and my lung, but I am still in the game enjoying life. Hi to all those who helped create wonderful Penn State memories and good wishes to all for fun, good health, and happiness. |
